Coble sworn in for 15th term

(Washington, DC)---For the 15th time in his illustrious career, Howard Coble placed his hand on the Bible Thursday and was sworn in as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives. Congressman Coble (R-NC), the longest-serving Republican representative in North Carolina history, will be a member of the 113th Congress.
“In November, I was honored to receive the support of the citizens of the newly-drawn Sixth District of North Carolina,” Rep. Coble stated, “I look forward to serving the 10 counties of the Sixth District for the next two years. “With our Washington staff surrounding me, I was pleased to be sworn in again by Speaker John Boehner. I am looking forward to getting to work in solving the problems facing our great nation, particularly with my new subcommittee assignment.”
Rep. Coble was recently named as the Chairman of the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Courts, Intellectual Property, and the Internet. He will be a member of both the Judiciary and the Transportation and Infrastructure committees in the 113th Congress.
